Tinuade Ladoja, one of the wives of the former governor of Oyo State and the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Rashidi Ladoja, don die at the age of 71.
She pass away on Monday morning after a brief illness. Adeola Oloko, the media aide to former Governor Ladoja, confirm her demise in a telephone interview with PUNCH Online in Ibadan, the state capital.
Oloko say, “Yes, it is confirmed. She is dead. May God repose her soul.”
Tinuade Ladoja be an influential member of the Pastor-in-Council of the Celestial Church of Christ, the highest decision-making body of the church. Her contributions to the church community dey well-recognized and respected.
The CCC Ikeja Parish 1 Cathedral, where she regularly attend, also confirm her death in a heartfelt post on its Facebook page, mourning the loss of a cherished member.
In the Facebook post, the church write, “It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. We submit to His will. #farewell.”
