Ekiti State Government don dey work hand in hand with United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to fight against Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and other childhood diseases. This partnership na part of their plan to ensure say children in Ekiti State get proper healthcare and protection against these diseases.
On Wednesday, October 10, 2024, dem call for media support to help spread the right information and reduce misinformation about HPV vaccine. Dem believe say if people get correct information, dem go be more willing to take the vaccine and protect their children.
The campaign aim at educating parents, caregivers, and the general public on the importance of HPV vaccine and how it can prevent serious health issues like cervical cancer and other diseases caused by HPV.
UNICEF dey provide support in terms of resources and expertise to help Ekiti State Government reach more people and make sure say the message get to every corner of the state.
