Kasar Naijeriya ta yi haridar hukuncin Kotun Koli kan wasu masu zuwa da kararraki da suka shafi Hukumar Yaki da Yiwa Tattalin Arzikin Naijeriya (EFCC). Tun bayan sabon shugaban EFCC, Olanipekun Olukoyede ya karbi mulki kusan shekara daya da rabi, yaɓar yaki da laifuffukan tattalin arziƙi ya zama mai ƙarfi.
EFCC, wacce aka kafa a shekarar 2003, tana mai da hankali kan binciken laifuffukan kudi, ciki har da laifuffukan kudin gaba da sauran laifuffukan tattalin arziƙi. A daidai yanzu, akwai matukar damu game da yadda ake amfani da intanet wajen aikata laifuffukan kudi a Naijeriya, wanda ya sa ake kira da a samar da suluhu dindindin.
Kotun Koli ta ci gaba da kafa misali mai ma’ana game da matsayin EFCC da sauran hukumomin yaki da laifuffukan tattalin arziƙi, inda ta bayyana cewa hukumomin hawa ba za a yi musu ikon karkashin kowace ikon gwamnati ba. Wannan ya nuna cewa EFCC tana da ‘yancin kai wajen yaki da laifuffukan tattalin arziƙi.
A ranar 2 ga watan Nuwamba, 2024, kotu ta umarci ayyana asarar karshe ta dalar Amurka milioni biyu da filayen gandun daji bakwai da aka alakanta da tsohon gwamnan babban bankin Naijeriya, Godwin Emefiele. EFCC ta bayyana cewa tsarin haka ya tursasa kasar biliyoyin naira kuma ta keta Section 19 na Dokar CBN ta shekarar 2007, wacce ta bukaci a samu izinin kwamitin gudanarwa da shugaban kasa don ayyana kudin kasa.
