The EFA sabi say Pyramids need more time to prepare, especially as dem full ground with plenty matches for domestic and continental competitions. Dem don schedule Pyramids to play Petrojet on May 17 during the seventh round of the Nile Egyptian League title phase. If dem play the Cup final just three days after, e go too much to travel go South Africa for the match on May 24.
For di other side, Zamalek’s matches no dey affect dem as much with di original Cup final date. Di White Knights go face Pyramids on May 13, and den dem go clash with Petrojet on May 24. Dis one no go disturb Zamalek like e dey do Pyramids.
Another wahala wey come from di change be say Ahmed Mostafa “Zizo,” wey na star player for Zamalek, go need to sign with Al Ahly after di current season finish. Di new finish date for di Egypt Cup final mean say Al Ahly go need to finalize his signing after June 5.
