For the Edo State governorship election that happened on September 21, six political parties wey participate for the election don agree to jointly inspect the electoral materials on Monday.
This agreement come after the previous inspection plans dey face several challenges and disagreements between the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to reports, the APC and PDP no dey agree on the modalities and timing for the inspection, with the APC insisting that the voters’ register should be inspected first before the BVAS machines. This disagreement cause INEC to postpone the inspection indefinitely on Thursday, October 10.
