Abuja, Nigeria – E be like say wahala dey for PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) as Federal High Court for Abuja don fix date wetin fit change their convention plans. Na Justice James Omotosho wey dey give the judgment date for October 31 after the lawyers don finish their matter.

Di plaintiffs, wey be Austin Nwachukwu, Amah Nnanna and Turnah Alabh George, don carry the matter go court because dem wan stop di planned shindig wey dey happen for November 15 and 16 for Ibadan. Dem talk say no proper congress happen for 14 states before PDP go gather for di National Convention, so dem need make INEC go dey control wetin dey happen.

During di court matter, Justice Omotosho no gree say dem go ignore any status quo wey him don set for di convention matter. Na serious matter o! Joseph Daudu, di SAN wey represent di plaintiffs, don hammer am say no be only party matta, but serious compliance to di law wey dey for our Constitution and PDP own Constitution too.

But di PDP National Chairman, Mr. Damagum, don send him lawyer, Paul Erokoro, to tell di judge say make him no take di case because na party internal issue dem dey discuss. Erokoro talk say di court no suppose dey enter party wahala.

Eyitayo Jegede, di lawyer wey dey represent National Working Committee (NWC) and di National Executive Committee (NEC), don join body with Erokoro as dem both dey talk say courts no suppose enter party matter.

So, e be like na October 31 we go know if na wahala go dey or PDP go fit carry di convention come without any breaking news. Make we hold our breath as di matter dey cook!
