Lawmakers for Kaduna State don announce say dem dey plan to establish one College of Agriculture for the state. Dis announcement come as part of the efforts to boost agricultural development and provide more educational opportunities for the youths in the area.
The lawmaker, who make dis announcement, say the college go focus on teaching modern farming techniques, agricultural science, and other related courses. Dem believe say dis college go help in increasing food production and reducing unemployment among the youths.
According to the lawmaker, the state government don already identify a suitable location for the college and dem dey work on the necessary infrastructure to ensure the college start operation soon. Dem also promise to provide scholarships and other forms of support to students who go enroll in the college.
This move dey align with Governor Uba Sani‘s seven-point agenda, which include improving education and agricultural development in Kaduna State. The governor, who was sworn in on 29th May, 2023, has been working tirelessly to fulfill his campaign promises, including the construction of 50 rural roads in one year.
