Gauff confirmed that she and Daly are experimenting with grip changes, which she has been using since their partnership began ahead of di China Open.
In her next match, Gauff will face Magda Linette in di quarter-finals. Linette, who defeated eighth seed Daria Kasatkina to reach di quarter-finals, is known for her strong backhand but is not expected to pose a significant threat to Gauff’s dominant form.
