1 The ECA (United Nations Economic Commission for Africa), in partnership with Betacube, has announced the launch of its first Tech African Women program, inviting women-led idea-stage startups from Ethiopia, Senegal, Tanzania and Tunisia to submit your applications.
2 TAW (Tech African Women) is a program launched with the goal of empowering female founders to harness their skills to build strong tech startups from scratch, accelerate the transformation of project ideas into validated business models, and develop alliances between different Africans.
3 ecosystems The program will take place from August to December 2022 and is made up of 3 main phases: intensive 3-day training camps and throwing competitions that will take place in Tunisia, Senegal, Ethiopia and Tanzania in association with players from the local ecosystem.

11 Participants entering the program must be citizens of Tunisia, Tanzania, Senegal, or Ethiopia, have an idea for a tech startup that addresses at least one of the SDGs, be female between the ages of 18 and 35, and be able to communicate fluently.
13 Applications are now open for candidates from all four countries on the official program website (www.techafricanwomen.com) until August 10, 2022 for Tunisia, and until August 17, 2022 for Ethiopia, Senegal and Tanzania.
