Dis na wetin dem dey consider before dem come decide to vex like this: rising operational costs, economic wahala, plus consultations with people wey sabi wetin dey happen. They go up di fees small small but dem say e dey competitive. Abeg, we fit believe dem?
Di revised fees go affect services wey concern companies, limited partnerships, business names, and incorporated trustees. For example, for small companies, di voluntary striking-off fee don climb from N25,000 to N50,000, and for public companies, wetin before dey N25,000 don now reach N100,000. E be like say wahala dey follow pocket too!
For di matter of relisting, na N50,000 go dey for LTD/GTE but N100,000 fit take public companies. And if you wan do due diligence by yourself, na N50,000 you go cough out. E no easy o!
Request for extension of time to hold annual general meeting don chop N100,000 for public companies, while others go still manage with N50,000. Historical Search Reports na N20,000 to N30,000 depending on wetin you dey find. (Some people go just dey wonder wetin dem dey pay for.)
For all di lawyers and compliance officers wey dey look for accurate information, dem go need to sign checkbook because certified true copies don reach N5,000 each. And if you wan stress your director’s residential address, e don enter N25,000. Omo, wetin come happen? Why dem no fit just make e free? Abi dem dey play “scam bank”?
Limited partnerships dey also groove with new fees wey dey N25,000 for voluntary striking off and relisting. For business names, fees still dey manage small, but nobody wan hear N10,000 for voluntary striking off or N25,000 for relisting. E get as e be o!
