Legendary actor Jackie Chan has raised concerns among his fans after he fainted while filming an action scene for his upcoming movie, “Panda Plan.” The incident happened during a fight scene where Chan was captured getting head-locked by a co-star before losing consciousness and going limp.
The crew immediately rushed to assist the 70-year-old actor, and after a short break, Chan insisted he was fine and continued filming. In an interview, Chan explained that he probably fainted because he was holding his breath during the stunt and reassured everyone that he was okay to avoid using a stunt double.
“It’s not a big deal. I need to assure everyone else [that I’m fine]; otherwise, they would want me to use a stunt double. If I just sit there while they use a stunt double and they just film my close-ups after he’s done, I would feel very guilty!” Chan said.
Despite his reassurances, fans are expressing worry that it might be time for Chan to stop doing his own stunts due to his age and health.
