Former President Donald Trump dey advise Israel to target Iran‘s nuclear facilities as part of their response to the recent Iranian missile attack. Trump make dis comment during a campaign rally in North Carolina on Friday.
Trump say Israel should “hit the nuclear sites first and worry about the rest later” because nuclear proliferation be the biggest risk we have. He criticize President Joe Biden‘s stance on the matter, saying Biden’s response was “the craziest thing I’ve ever heard.”
On the other hand, President Joe Biden say he no support any Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. When asked if he would support such a strike, Biden tell reporters, “The answer is no.” He emphasize that Israel has the right to respond, but their response should be proportional.
The tension between Israel and Iran escalate after Iran launch nearly 200 missiles at Israel on Tuesday, claiming it was retaliation for recent killings of Hezbollah and Hamas leaders. The attack hit several Israeli military installations, restaurants, and schools, with one Palestinian casualty reported from the West Bank due to falling missile debris.
The U.S. State Department official also confirm that Israel has not yet pledged to the Biden administration that it would not target Iranian nuclear facilities. The official say it’s difficult to predict when Israel might retaliate, but it could happen before or after October 7, the anniversary of Hamas’s cross-border attack on southern Israel.
