Gwamnatin tarayyar Nijeriya ta sanar da cewa ta karbi taimakon masana’antu daga Amurka da Faransa wajen binciken tsohuwar jirgin saman da ya fadi a Tekun Atlantika a watan Oktoba.
Jirgin saman na Sikorsky SK76 da lambar saukar ungulu 5N-BQG ya fadi a yankin Bonny Finima a ranar 24 ga Oktoba, 2024, tare da jawon six passengers da ma’aikatan jirgin biyu a cikin jirgin. Har yanzu, an samu gawarwaki biyar, yayin da uku har yanzu suna bata zama.
Ministan Sufurin Sama da Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, ya bayyana cewa masana’antu daga Amurka da Faransa za yi aiki tare da Hukumar Binciken Hadari ta Sufurin Sama ta Nijeriya (NSIB) wajen binciken abin da ya faru. Keyamo ya ce, “NTSB wata aika wakili mai izini daga Amurka, tare da masanin fasaha daga Sikorsky Aircraft. Faransa, a matsayin ƙasa ta tsara da kera injin, ta naɗa wakili mai izini, tare da masanin fasaha daga Safran, mai kera injin”[2][4].
An kuma tabbatar da cewa an dawo da tsohuwar jirgin saman daga inda aka samu ta kuma ake kawarta zuwa Abuja domin a fara binciken. Keyamo ya ce, “A ranar Satumba, 9, tsohuwar jirgin saman ta bar inda aka samu ta kuma iso filin jirgin sama a ranar Lahadi, 10. Bayan kammala taratibai a tashar jirgin, an sanya tsohuwar jirgin saman a kan motar ɗaukar kaya a ranar Litinin, 11, kuma tana hanyarta zuwa Abuja”.
NSIB, tare da hadin gwiwa da hukumomin sufurin sama na gida da waje, ta fara binciken kuma za bincika manyan abubuwa da suka shafi hadarin, ciki har da horon jirgin, horon ma’aikatan jirgin, da muhallin da ya shafi hadarin.
