According to reports, Musa and Shehu join Kano Pillars on free transfers. Musa, wey be de all-time highest goalscorer for Nigeria in de World Cup, terminate his contract with Turkish club Sivasspor in February 2024. Shehu, on de other hand, no get team since he leave Bulgarian outfit Levski Sofia in January 2023.
Musa’s decision to return to Kano Pillars no be about money, because he be a billionaire in naira terms. He return because of de love and passion he get for his childhood club and to give back to de community. Musa already win de NPFL Golden Boot in 2009-2010 and he be a four-time Nigerian champion with Kano Pillars.
