Adeleke Don Jump PDP Boat as Crisis Dey Hot!

Osogbo, Osun State – Na wah! Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, don finally waka comot from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wey suppose be his political family. E believe say the drama wey dey happen for the leadership level of the party na too much shifting for hin liking. He drop this news for his Instagram page on Monday night, making am clear say him don give dem hin resignation letter since November 4, 2025.

Adeleke reason wey him resign no be joke as he explain say, ‘Due to the ongoing crisis within the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party at the national level, I officially conveyed my resignation letter as a member to the party leadership in Sagba Abogunde, Ward 2, Ede North Local Government.’ (No be small matter o!)

For him post, e also thank PDP for the chance to serve as senator and governor. But abeg, wetin be the plan? Before this resignation, reports from PDP state chapter don show say no be small wahala dey inside, and dem dey doubt if Adeleke go even want contest come 2026 election if things no change. I mean, who go want enter wahala wey no get end?

However, PDP management dey hope say if dem fit settle their internal squabbles, dem go fit convince Adeleke to change hin mind. But since dem no fit talk to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) quick enough, e fit mean say Adeleke don exit stage left for good.

Na so e be as tensions dey rise for the Osun governorship race, and Adeleke no fit even gist us wetin e wan do next. People dey wonder if him go join All Progressives Congress (APC), but rumor full plenty, and the ruling party no don open hin arms to receive am yet.
