Justice Emeka Nwite of de Federal High Court in Abuja don adjourn de trial of Binance executive, Tigran Gambaryan, till October 25. Dis decision come after Gambaryan no show up for his scheduled trial continuation on Friday.

Justice Nwite stand down de court briefly to allow de parties investigate why Gambaryan, de second defendant, no appear. Upon resuming, Justice Nwite indicate im readiness to proceed with de trial, which suppose be de continuation of cross-examination.
Prosecution counsel, Ekele Iheanacho, tell de court say Gambaryan dey receive treatment at hospital and dat de correctional centre go provide more details. A representative from de correctional facility tell de court, “My Lord, de second defendant very sick, and we no go fit produce am in court today.”
Gambaryan’s lawyer, Mark Mordi (SAN), request adjournment till next week to update de court on im client’s health condition. Iheanacho no oppose de request for adjournment, saying dem very passionate about health issues and while dem want de case to progress, dem no oppose de adjournment to report on Gambaryan’s health.
With both parties in agreement, Justice Nwite adjourn de matter till Friday, October 25, for an update on Gambaryan’s health condition. Last week, Gambaryan’s lawyer pray to de court for a six-week bail for im client to seek proper medical attention outside de correctional facility, citing inadequate care in custody.
