One Nigerian musician, Owodunni Ibrahim, wey people know as Primeboy, don take Nigeria Police Force to court because dem allegedly abuse him human rights.
According to *PUNCH Metro*, Lagos State Police Command declare Primeboy wanted on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, because him no show up for police invitation since dem start investigate how Mohbad, another singer, die.
Mohbad, whose real name be Ilerioluwa Aloba, die on September 12 at the age of 27, and the way him die cause plenty controversy on social media.
Primeboy’s lawyer, Akinpelu Ogunbona, talk say the suit was filed before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos on October 11. Him say Primeboy dey ask the court to remove his name from the wanted list and other things.
Ogunbona explain say, “Primeboy has sued the police via an originating motion filed before the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos on October 11. Him pray the court to declare that the special police gazette bulletin issued by the office of the IGP declaring Primeboy wanted was a contravention of Primeboy’s right to respect for the dignity of his human person. Primeboy also pray the court to delist his name from the wanted list amongst other prayers,”
Primeboy surrender himself to the police barely 24 hours after dem declare him wanted. Mohbad’s death also lead to the arrest of Naira Marley and another Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry.
The body of Mohbad was exhumed for autopsy on September 21, 2023, to know the real cause of his death.
