Israeli military authorities don dey investigate whether Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, be among the three militants wey dem kill for recent operation in Gaza Strip.
According to reports from Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), dem dey check the possibility say Sinwar, who be 62 years old, be one of the terrorists wey dem eliminate in a specific building in Gaza.
Sinwar, who serve as Hamas leader in Gaza since 2017, recently assume leadership of the group’s Political Bureau after the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in July. Israel accuse am of being the mastermind behind the Hamas-led terror attacks on October 7.
The IDF and Shin Bet say that at this stage, dem no fit confirm the identity of the terrorists wey dem kill, but dem dey continue to operate with caution in the area. Dem also mention say there be no indication of hostages being present in the vicinity where the militants were killed.
