Famili of one journalist and human rights activist, Oluwatosin Oshibanjo, dey panic after some unknown pipo kidnap am for im house in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on Tuesday.
According to *PUNCH Metro*, Oluwatosin mama, Tokunbo Bakre, talk say di abduction happen after Tosin intervene in one human rights case wey involve one lady and one pastor.
Bakre tell dem say di lady accuse di pastor of impregnating her and forcing her to do abortion several times, but she refuse di last attempt. Di lady deliver one baby wey she claim di pastor be di father, but di pastor deny am.
Tosin publish di alleged dispute between di lady and di pastor and try to get di pastor to react to di issue. Bakre say she hear say her son be kidnapped after some men come take am while he dey talk with im wife on phone and carry am go unknown place.
Bakre talk say, “My son intervene in one issue wey involve one lady and one pastor wey also claim say im be doctor. Di lady say di pastor impregnate her several times and force her to do abortion. She say she refuse to abort di last pregnancy wey she get with di pastor which create issues between her and him.
“My son publish di incident on im platform. To my surprise, I hear say some pipo kidnap my son while he dey on phone conversation with im wife and I suspect say im abduction be because of di issue of di lady wey he intervene in.”
She add say di incident throw di family into panic mood as several efforts to locate im whereabouts no succeed since im mobile phone no dey reachable since im abduction. “We make several efforts to locate im whereabouts but he no fit be reached. Dis cause tension for di family because we no know di condition he dey in now and what di abductors fit do to am.
“I dey appeal to di authorities to help me locate and rescue my son,” Bakre say.
Efforts to get di reaction of Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, no succeed as calls and messages sent to her line no deliver as of di time of filing dis report.
However, one senior police officer wey know di incident but no authorised to speak with di media confirm di abduction to our correspondent in a telephone conversation on Wednesday. “Yes, I know di incident. It be reported to di police but I no fit talk further on it,” di police officer say.
