Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) don hail Governor Dapo Abiodun for securing $25 million in foreign direct investments over the past year.
This praise come from a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Tunde Oladunjoye. The party say Ogun State dey among the top five leading states in Nigeria for attracting significant foreign investments between June 2023 and June 2024.
According to the report from Statisense, a pioneering AI data company, Ogun State secure $25 million in foreign investments, surpassing oil-rich Rivers State which get only $6 million.
Ogun State now dey in the same league as other states like Lagos ($5.95 billion), FCT ($2.59 billion), Abia ($150.09 million), and Akwa Ibom ($33.95 million) which also attract significant foreign investments within this timeframe.
The APC say dis achievement no be possible without the leadership, foresight, and exceptional business acumen of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun. They commend Mr Governor and his team for the excellent work dem dey do in attracting both local and foreign investments, transforming Ogun State into a true economic and industrial hub, and an investors’ destination of choice.
The party also urge the Abiodun-led administration not to rest on its laurels but to remain focused on sustaining this progress.
