One very sad incident happen for Jigawa state on Tuesday night, where a petrol tanker explode and kill at least 90 people. The explosion occur for Majiya Town, Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa state.
According to police reports, the tanker flip over while the driver dey navigate one highway near a university. Many people rush to collect the spilled fuel, but before dem know wetin dey happen, the tanker explode and cause massive fire.
The fire burn till 3:15 am on Wednesday, and it claim the lives of 90 people, while another 50 people sustain injuries. Police spokesman Lawan Adam confirm the incident and explain how the locals were trying to collect fuel from the tanker when the explosion happen.
The incident occur along the Kano-Hadejia expressway in Taura, Jigawa state. This tragedy bring great sorrow to the community and the entire nation.
