Two Storey Building Collapse for Orile Iganmu, Lagos; No Casualties Recorded

On Monday morning, a two-storey building collapse happen for Amusu Street in Orile Iganmu area of Lagos State. The incident cause panic among residents and onlookers as dem scramble for safety.

According to reports from emergency responders, including the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), LASG FIRE, LASBCA, and the Nigeria Police Force, all occupants of the building had been evacuated before the collapse. So, no casualties were recorded.

A video posted on social media show the moment the building collapse, with people running for their lives. The emergency responders quickly arrive at the scene to manage the situation and prevent any secondary incidents.

Further assessment of the adjoining two-storey building reveal that it is also distressed and not safe for occupants. All occupants of this building have also been evacuated to ensure their safety.
