Nigeria‘s Honorary Ambassador to South Africa, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, don dey call on Confederation of African Football (CAF) to intervene as Nigeria’s national football team, Super Eagles, dey face serious travel challenges for their match in Libya.
The Super Eagles, wey dey prepare for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya, find themselves stranded in Libya due to logistical issues. Dabiri-Erewa, who be strong advocate for Nigerian citizens and athletes, no dey happy with the way Libya treat our players.
The Nigerian government also join voice to condemn the hostile treatment of the Super Eagles by Libyan authorities. Dem express serious concern over the safety and welfare of the players and officials.
CAF, however, still keep mum on the matter, despite the urgent need for intervention to ensure the team’s safety and smooth conduct of the match.
