Papa Petition Senate Over Him Daughter UTME Result Weh Dem No Release

One Nigerian father, Mr. Onyebuchi Obioha, don go petition the Senate over the non-release of his daughter’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result. According to him, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) withhold the result because of a vindictive report written by one of the exam supervisors.

Mr. Obioha accuse the exam supervisor of orchestrating the delay in releasing his daughter’s result. He claim say the supervisor submit a false report against his daughter, which lead to JAMB withholding her result.

The Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, led by Senator Neda Imasuen, don take up the matter and promise to treat the petition expeditiously. Senator Imasuen say that fresh letters of invitation have been sent to the heads of the affected agencies, including JAMB, and that warrant of arrest would be issued if they fail to appear before the committee.

This development come as part of the Senate’s efforts to ensure justice and fairness in handling petitions filed against various agencies and individuals. The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, don give the committee the power to issue warrant of arrest against any head of agency that refuse to appear before them.
