Onyeka Chigbo, wey be the second runner-up for the recently concluded Big Brother Naija: No Loose Guard season, don talk about how fans dey have unreal expectations from housemates. In an interview with *Saturday Beats*, Onyeka clarify some misconceptions about her relationship with her elder sister, Chizoba, who also be her partner on the show.
Onyeka say, “My strategy was being real. I did not hold back my emotions at any point in the show.” She also talk about how fans often misunderstand the dynamics of relationships inside the house. “I’m not bossy with my sister. Fans often have unrealistic expectations of housemates. In reality, no one greets their siblings every morning; we have a friendly relationship,” she stated.
Reflecting on her journey in the BBN house, Onyeka talk about how she move from being one of the least voted housemates in the first week to becoming a top contender. She express her desire to inspire young girls who may be going through self-doubt. “Even though I didn’t win the cash prize, I had my own fair share of wins. Making it to the finals alone qualifies one as a winner,” she added.
Onyeka’s authenticity and realness were key to her strategy in the house. She emphasized that being true to herself was what helped her connect with the audience and make it as far as she did in the competition.
