Dis assurance come after plenty internal challenges dey face PDP, especially with recent reports of irregularities during state congresses and divisions within de party leadership. Governor Mohammed talk dis during a meeting with stakeholders from de Northeast who come show him solidarity.
Senator Adolphus Wabara, de Chairman of PDP Board of Trustees (BoT), also talk on de need for unity and immediate action to address de discrepancies in state congresses. He call for an urgent National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on October 24, 2024, to strategise and resolve de pressing issues within de party.
In another development, former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, react to de crisis by saying it is an exciting drama and Nigerians should just sit down and watch how it ends. Dis come after two factions within PDP leadership suspend each other’s key officers, including de National Publicity Secretary and de National Legal Adviser.
Despite all dese challenges, Governor Mohammed and other PDP leaders dey emphasize de importance of internal unity and diplomacy to ensure de party remain strong and relevant in Nigerian politics.
