Michel say that China need to “modify its actions” to address the rising tensions over tariffs. He warn say the situation fit escalate into a significant trade war if no solution be found soon. The EU don impose new tariffs of up to 35.3 percent on imports of Chinese-made electric cars, and Beijing don retaliate with tariffs on EU-produced brandy, especially affecting French manufacturers.
The dispute dey center around China’s substantial subsidies to its industries, which Brussels argue say dey unfairly disadvantage European businesses.
