Bishop David Abioye and Bishop Thomas Aremu De Retire From Living Faith Church Next Week

Bishop David Abioye and Bishop Thomas Aremu, wey be de Vice Presidents of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), go retire next week after serving de church for over four and three decades respectively.

According to sources inside de church, including one pastor who no want his name mentioned, de retirement align with Winners Chapel’s operational manual, The Mandate, which recently change de retirement age from 60 to 55. Only de church’s founder, Bishop David Oyedepo, go be allowed to serve beyond dis new age limit.

Bishop Abioye, who be 63 years old now, first meet Bishop David Oyedepo in 1979. He lead one of de church’s five pioneer branches in 1987 and was consecrated in 1993 at de age of 32. Currently, he be de Senior Pastor of Living Faith Church, Goshen City, Abuja. His farewell service go hold on Friday, October 18, 2024, in Durumi, Abuja.

Bishop Aremu, who be 67 years old, transition to full-time ministry after a successful accounting career. He was one of de seven bishops consecrated in November 1999 at Garden of Faith, Kaduna. His farewell service go take place at LFC Basorun in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

De church go hold valedictory services for de two Bishops at their respective churches. Dis development show say future leaders of de church go be permitted to serve one or two terms of seven years each, subject to de Board of Trustees’ approval.
