The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) don announce say dem don suspend their National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, and their National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade, SAN. Dis decision come out from the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party during their 593rd meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2024.
According to Chinwe Nnorom, the PDP National Director of Publicity, the party set up a committee led by Deputy National Chairman (South) Taofeek Arapaja to investigate the issues raised against Ologunagba and Ajibade. The committee go dey work according to the party’s Constitution.
Ologunagba and Ajibade been key voices for the party, especially since 2023, when dem start urge the National Chairman, Umar Damagum, to follow the party’s constitution in daily operations. Now, their deputies, Ibrahim Abdullahi Manga and Okechukwu Osuoha, go take over their roles in acting capacity until the investigation finish.
The NWC dey ask all party leaders, stakeholders, and members to remain focused and committed as dem handle the day-to-day affairs of the party for its greater good.
