One female student of Akoko Anglican Grammar School in Ondo State has been arrested by the police after she allegedly stabbed her male colleague to death. The incident happened on Wednesday after school hours when the two students engaged in a scuffle.
According to sources, the female student, identified as Sandra, stabbed her colleague, Habib Salau, during the altercation. An eyewitness revealed that the knife used in the stabbing was obtained from a student of Ajiroke Technical School.
The body of the deceased, Habib Salau, has been deposited at the mortuary of the Specialist Hospital in Ikare. The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the incident and stated that the case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for a thorough investigation.
Abayomi Oladipo, representing the Ondo State Police Command, assured that they will investigate the circumstances surrounding Habib’s death thoroughly, saying, “We will leave no stone unturned in uncovering the circumstances surrounding Habib’s tragic death.”
