Shettima talk say de number of out-of-school children for Nigeria be very high and dis dey pose serious threat to de future of de country. Him say if we no take action to ensure all children get proper education, dem go become problem for their peers and de society at large.
Dis warning come at a time when UNESCO report show say Nigeria get over twenty million out-of-school children, which be one of de highest numbers in de world. De Federal Government and other stakeholders dey work hard to address dis issue and ensure school safety across de country.
Shettima’s statement dey align with recent concerns raised by de Senate and other education stakeholders about de need to tackle de problem of out-of-school children to reduce insecurity and promote national development.
