The court also void the 2024 budget of Rivers State that was passed by a group of four lawmakers. According to the judgment, the presentation and passage of the budget by these four lawmakers be unlawful and therefore, the court set it aside.
This development mean say Governor Siminalaye Fubara must re-present the budget to the legally constituted House of Assembly under the leadership of Amaewhule.
