Chief Munir Balogun, the father of popular Afrobeats star Wizkid, don talk about the long-time beef between his son and Davido. In a recent interview, Chief Balogun advise Wizkid to no mind the provocations from Davido’s fans.
According to Chief Balogun, “I tell my son that he shouldn’t look or listen to whatever the boys who are supporters of Davido are saying. The supporters are only looking for what they will say to collect money and all of that.” He explain say fans often seek attention and stir up controversy for their benefit, and Wizkid should rise above the noise.
Chief Balogun also mention that the rivalry is something he has observed online. He say, “They are just looking for what they are going to eat and I told him not to pay much attention to them.” This advice come as the tensions between Wizkid and Davido continue to be a topic of debate among fans.
