Court order final forfeiture of N4.6bn jewellery, cars wey belong to Aisha Achimugu

Abuja High Court wey dey Apo don order final forfeiture of assets wey dey worth billions of naira to Federal Government. Di assets wey dey involve na property wey dem link to businesswoman, Ms Aisha Achimugu.

Justice Jude Onwugbuzie give di order on Thursday, July 16, 2026, while e dey deliver judgment on application wey Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) file. Di anti-graft agency don dey pursue di case to make dem permanently forfeit di properties.

Di forfeited items include high-value jewellery, exotic cars, and cash holdings wey dem value at N4.6 billion. Dem also recover N30 million cash. Di court say di assets dey linked to Achimugu, wey don dey face legal proceedings before.

Di court ruling come after EFCC show say di assets na proceed of illegal activities. Justice Onwugbuzie agree with di commission and order say di assets go become property of Federal Government.
