For statement wey dem release on Friday, di Head of Voter Education and Publicity, Mrs Nseabasi Udom, tok say di publication na false, misleading, and no come from di commission at all. INEC explain say di registration exercise dey go on well, according to dia approved rotation schedule.
According to di commission, di CVR don already move to Ibusa earlier on Thursday, where di exercise take place successfully. Dem further explain say di registration centre for Akwukwu Igbo go resume work from July 6 to July 10, as part of di structured local government area plan.
INEC urge all residents of Akwukwu Igbo and surrounding communities to ignore di viral message and only rely on official INEC communication channels for correct updates.
