E start im banking career for 1983 at Union Bank of Nigeria Plc. Later, e hold positions for former Gateway Bank, Oceanic Bank, Ecobank Nigeria Plc, and Intercontinental Bank, wey now be part of Access Bank Plc.
Before e retire for July 2025, e serve as Managing Director and CEO of AMJU Unique Microfinance Bank Limited, a position e hold from 2012.
Outside banking, Dr. Ososuakpor don hold several leadership and board positions. E serve as Chairman of Universal Finance Consult & Investment Limited from 2007 to 2017, and later chair V-Capital Consulting Limited from 2015 to 2025. E currently chair di board of Top Rank Oil Services Limited, an engineering company for Nigeria oil and gas sector.
Dr. Ososuakpor get Bachelor and Master degree for Banking and Finance from University of Benin. E also get Master of Science and Doctorate for Economics from Delta State University, plus MBA for Finance from Bangor University.
Im professional qualifications include fellowships of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Institute of Credit Administration, Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria, Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals, and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. E be member of Nigerian Economic Society and Chartered Banker Institute for Wales, UK.
