ADC call for unity, discipline before presidential primaries Monday

Di African Democratic Congress (ADC) don appeal to all dia presidential aspirants, party leaders, delegates, and members for di whole kontri to maintain unity and discipline as dem dey prepare for di presidential primaries wey go happun on Monday.

For statement wey dem release on Sunday for Abuja, di party National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, describe di exercise as a crucial moment for both di party and Nigerians wey dey search for a credible political alternative. According to am, ADC remain committed to internal democracy and transparent leadership selection.

ā€œDi ADC remains proud to stand today as di only truly democratic party for Nigeria, because e be di only political party wey dem choose dia presidential candidate through open primaries,ā€ di statement tok.

Di party stress say di conduct of aspirants and party members during di exercise go reflect di leadership culture wey ADC intend to promote. ā€œWe therefore urge all aspirants, dia supporters, delegates, and party faithful to conduct themselves peacefully, responsibly, and with dignity throughout di process. Dis election must reflect di values wey we claim to represent as a party wey commit to transparency, internal democracy, national unity, and di rule of law,ā€ Abdullahi state.

ADC note say while disagreements and competition be part of democratic contests, di broader objective of rebuilding Nigeria and restoring public confidence for leadership should remain di party priority. ā€œAt di end of dis exercise, there go be no winners or losers inside di ADC family.
