Donald Trump don tok say di negotiations with Iran dey go well, and e tell im negotiators make dem no rush for any agreement. According to Trump, di talks dey happen in a way wey dey orderly and constructive.
But some experts dey see am different. Patryk Gorgol, wey be expert for international law and politics wey sabar Middle East well well, say if di reports about di talks be true, then Iran dey win for di negotiation table. Gorgol tok for social media say di conditions wey dey shape di agreement show say Iran get di upper hand and America dey lose.
Di rumours say di deal go include open Strait of Hormuz for 60 days. Gorgol say Iran don force America to give big concessions, while Iran no give much in return. Dem exchange opening of Strait of Hormuz – something wey never dey on table before di conflict – for real concessions from United States. According to Iran, dem plus Oman go still control di strait. So no be say things go back to how dem be before.
Di expert also point out say America don agree to unfreeze $25 billion. Di ceasefire go cover all fronts of fighting, including Lebanon. But di important matters for Iran, like nuclear program and sanctions, dem don push to next round of talks. So both sides still get bargaining chips. And dem never even touch di issue of Iran ballistic missiles.
Gorgol say Iran promise no to get nuclear weapon no be success for America, because Iran don already promise dat decades ago under di Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). If di next round of talks happen while Iran still control Strait of Hormuz, e mean say negotiation go continue with Iran gun dey point at America head. According to Gorgol, America don negotiate worse conditions than di 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA), and even worse than wetin Iran propose for February 2026.
