But Mother’s Day Sunday go show improvement – most of di day go be dry with temperatures reaching upper 60s and lower 70s, wey be warmest day of next seven. However, chance for rain increase again at night.
Next week, showers from Sunday night go linger through Monday morning, with unseasonably cool temperatures only reaching 50s. Tuesday go be partly to mostly sunny. Wednesday go start dry but showers expected late, wey go last into and possibly through Thursday. Temperatures go stay below average, only trending milder on Friday but still falling short of normal highs.

On December 2, coastal storm bring mix of snow, freezing rain, sleet, and rain. Snowfall totals reach 6-10 inches for Litchfield and northern Hartford counties, with 9 inches for Simsbury. Roads slick with multiple spin-outs and crashes.

On October 10, temperature drop to 29 degrees at Bradley, tying record from 1989. Bridgeport get down to 40.
August 2025 be first month since November 2023 to finish below normal, ending stretch of 21 consecutive months warmer than normal for Hartford Area. Bridgeport experience driest summer on record since 1948.
On August 20, chilly, raw day with rain heavily statewide, totals over 3 inches for parts of Litchfield and Fairfield counties. Bridgeport tie record of 70 set for 1990.
On July 31, low pressure bring rain heavy at times, totals 2-3 inches along and northwest of I-84. July 2025 become 8th wettest July on record since 1905. Temperatures soar into 90s ahead of cold front, with heat index low 100s. Hartford Area high 95, Bridgeport high 94 break old record of 93 from 2001. Severe thunderstorms cause multiple trees down across state.
Heat wave of 2025: three consecutive days 90 or higher at Bradley Airport from July 15-17, achieving second heat wave of year.

First heat wave of year last four days from June 22-25. Bradley Airport high 98 on June 23 set record, 99 on June 24 set record, 97 on June 25 set record and tie warmest June temperature since 1948. Bridgeport hit 93, 94, 95, and 97 respectively, all set daily record highs. Also break records for warmest low temperature.
On June 5, high of 93 at Bradley Airport, and for Bridgeport high of 87 break prior June 5th record by 1 degree set for 2021.
For May 22, unseasonably cool with highs in upper 40s and lower 50s, tie over 100 year old record of 49 from 1909 for lowest high temperature for Hartford Area. Bridgeport high 52 break record lowest high of 54 from 2005.
