Thunder roll past Suns: Pistons bounce back to level series with Magic

Oklahoma City Thunder don show again why dem be the best team for the league, as dem defeat Phoenix Suns 95-82 for Game 2 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series for Paycom Center.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, wey be the reigning MVP, lead the way with 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. The Thunder don now lead the series 2-0, and dem dey look to sweep the Suns for the next game for Phoenix.

Jalen Williams add 22 points, while Chet Holmgren contribute 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Thunder defense hold the Suns to just 38% shooting from the field, and dem force 15 turnovers.

For the Suns side, Devin Booker score 24 points, but he no get enough help from im teammates. Jalen Green add 18 points, but the Suns struggle to contain the Thunder offense, especially for the third quarter where Oklahoma City outscore dem 32-18.

The Thunder lead by as many as 26 points for the fourth quarter before dem relax, and the Suns cut the deficit to 13. But the game never really dey in doubt.

Meanwhile, for the Eastern Conference, the Detroit Pistons bounce back to level their series with the Orlando Magic at 1-1. The Pistons defeat the Magic 112-104 for Game 2 for Little Caesars Arena.

Cade Cunningham lead the Pistons with 31 points and 8 assists, while Jaden Ivey add 25 points. The Magic get 28 points from Paolo Banchero, but dem no fit stop the Pistons offense for the fourth quarter.

The series now shift to Orlando for Game 3 and 4.
