Di team don grow quick-quick, dem get three full-time Cup Series charters, Reddick win 2024 regular-season championship, and dem win against NASCAR after court settlement last December. For 2026, 23XI don win five of nine races, all with di No. 45 car.
Reddick win im fifth victory for 2026 at Kansas Speedway, im beat Hamlin wey come fourth. Di win make Reddick lead di Cup Series standings by 105 points ahead of Hamlin from Joe Gibbs Racing.
After di race, Jordan tell FOX Sports say im dey look forward to trash-talk Hamlin. “I mean, look, I’m racing against Denny. So in essence, I really wanted to beat him because I know we’re going to talk a lot of trash a little bit later. But it was a good race,” Jordan yarn.
Jordan add say, “When we started to run out of fuel, I didn’t know what was happening. But 23XI, all the guys drove well today. I mean, you know, we finished, I think, all four cars in the top 15. So, I mean, that says a lot about the program. And this kid [Reddick] is on fire. You know, I don’t even know what to say. I don’t know if I can cool him down. He’s unbelievable. That was an unbelievable last couple of laps. And I’m proud of him. I’m proud of the whole team.”
Di win slip from Hamlin hand for di last laps at Kansas Speedway after caution bring overtime. Reddick take advantage of di situation. Reddick say, “Yeah, you know, just really blessed with the late caution. How about that? Was that nuts or what? Woo! I couldn’t believe it. I mean, first off, I feel like I have to say, obviously, just for how I feel, and I never liked being on the other side of it. Really hate that for Christopher Bell. You know, it was a good, hard race, and 11 came up, and I just, I mean, I took off tight. So, not thrilled I got Christopher there. I hate that for him, because he was having a good, solid day. So, man, it’s just, these late race restarts, it gets really, really crazy there. And, obviously, I had a run on the 5, and I was just shocked I was able to get to his inside there.”
Di Kansas race dey exciting until di end with overtime finish. Reddick win make am five wins from nine races for 2026 season, something wey no Cup Series driver don do since Dale Earnhardt for 1987. Reddick na first driver ever to sweep first three races of Cup season.
Hamlin dey drive with shoulder injury wey go need surgery after season. Im look like im go beat Reddick for final laps battle. But with two laps to go, Cody Ware bring out caution and force overtime. Hamlin choose two tires like Reddick and others for restart, but im no get push and Reddick with Kyle Larson pass am.
Chase Briscoe come third for Sunday after nightmare start to season. Im take four tires for overtime, lose track position but speed past almost everybody except Reddick and Larson for last two laps.
Ryan Blaney record im worst finish (24th) since season opener at Daytona. Justin Marks team no get any car for top 16 standings. Shane van Gisbergen dey 18th, Ross Chastain dey 20th for standings and 26th at Kansas, Connor Zilisch dey struggle as rookie.
