Atlanta Braves still never lose any series for dis April season. For dis Miami Marlins series, dem face plenty batting attack from Marlins. First game no go well at all, na Dominic Smith big hit yesterday make dem balance am. But tonight, na smooth sailing for Braves as Bryce Elder cruise well and dem jump early lead wey leave Marlins behind.
Elder first inning small rough sha. E walk Xavier Edwards, then graze Otto Lopez with pitch, put two men on base with one out. But no wahala. Routine flyout come, then e use slider-slider-slider strikeout Connor Norby finish dat threat. Elder strike out two more for perfect second inning, make defense help am for perfect third inning, before another two strikeouts start fourth inning.
Norby collect first hit wey Elder give with double down right-field line. But Michael Harris II catch hard liner from Owen Caissie, keep Miami scoreboard empty. For Marlins side, Chris Paddack strike out Ronald Acuña Jr. and Drake Baldwin for perfect first inning. But Braves catch am for second inning.
Ozzie Albies hook first Paddack pitch wey e see go Chop House for solo home run. Mike Yastrzemski, Dominic Smith, and Mauricio Dubon follow with singles wey bring another run. Paddack strike out Acuña to end inning with two Braves men for scoring position. After dat, everything quiet until fifth inning wey get small wahala.
Graham Pauley connect good Elder slider well, thwack am for one-out double. Deyvison De Los Santos follow with soft bouncer wey Dubon charge, rush, throw wide of bag. Elder get small command problem wey no good for dat time, e issue walk (six pitches, none near zone) to load bases with Edwards coming up.

Lee walk pinch-hitter Austin Slater but then catch Heriberto Hernandez looking on 3-2 slider right down pipe. Elder finish game with return to form like earlier Bryce Elder pitching level. E get 7 strikeouts, 2 walks for 5 2/3 innings. E three free passes (remember hit by pitch) come with men on base, but e slider dey on point tonight—command correct, results good, whiff rate pass 50 percent.
Elder leave game when score na 2-0, but dat change quick. Austin Riley connect e first homer for dis year, 400-footer to left center, on King first pitch for sixth inning. After easy Tyler Kinley frame for seventh inning, Braves do small batting practice against Andrew Nardi.
Acuña double (almost sliding catch miss), Baldwin single, Olson destroy hanging slider make score 6-0. Riley add double for extra measure but dem strand am. With game now look like rout, Braves bring Osvaldo Bido for eighth inning.
Liam Hicks hit two-run homer, Norby reach on bad throw to first by Riley, Bido throw two wild pitches, Slater walk again. Weiss see enough, send Robert Suarez to restore order. First batter Suarez face hit another dinky bouncer to Dubon.
Dubon take chance throw to second—but Albies no fit catch throw. No wahala though: Pauley, as tying run, get beat on changeup, hit into easy double play. Braves go 1-2-3 against Calvin Faucher for bottom eighth inning, Raisel Iglesias wrap game easy.
Iglesias strike out pinch-hitter Agustin Ramirez on three pitches, clip zone with four-seamer end at-bat. E throw three straight changeups get three straight whiffs from Jakob Marsee. Edwards ruin potential immaculate inning with single up middle—shame because Iglesias end game on e third three-pitch strikeout for night.
Lopez wave weak at buried changeup seal another series win for Braves. Every Brave get hit except Harris wey go 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. Braves no get walk but dem hit three homers, so no big deal. Dem go try keep things rolling after Thursday off day for big weekend set in Philadelphia.
