Russell throw ball well well. He finish with 21 completions out of 33 attempts, make 242 yards, score three touchdowns, and get one interception. He only complete 6 out of 12 passes, make 101 yards, score one touchdown, and get one interception too.
Coach Kalen DeBoer talk say Mack get small injury wey make him stop play early. For the red zone part, Russell take all the reps as Mack dey watch from sideline. But Russell no perfect. Dijon Lee intercept am for one drive, and he over throw tight end Josh Ford for end zone. Still, his confidence dey impress everybody.

But Mack show small comeback. For next drive, he march down field and find Lotzeir Brooks for touchdown. He also connect deep passes to Derek Meadows and Ryan Coleman-Williams. Coleman-Williams self talk say both quarterbacks dey make plays differently. “Na joy to dey practice with dem,” he add.
Freshmen Jett Thomala and Tayden Kaawa see small play time, but attention still dey for Russell and Mack. Russell win the day, but race no finish. Team get one more week of spring practice, and battle go continue till August as Alabama dey find next main quarterback.
For other side, wide receiver Noah Rogers collect injury. For red zone play, he tangle with defensive back Red Morgan, and trainers carry am go locker room on cart. He no fit put weight for left leg. DeBoer say dem go evaluate am with MRI. Rogers be transfer from NC State wey join Alabama this offseason.

Daniel Hill carry 10 times for 32 yards, Kevin Riley struggle with 9 carries for 9 yards, but Trae’Shawn Brown show strong with 25 yards on 5 carries and 60 yards on 5 catches. Overall, A-Day give glimpse of where Alabama dey ahead of 2026 season. Quarterback battle dey open, injuries dey worry, but team dey work towards September opener against East Carolina.
