Troops of the Joint Task Force for Operation Hadin Kai don arrest one 15-year-old boy wey dem link to one deadly attack for Borno State wey lead to the death of one senior army officer and other soldiers.
The suspect wey dem identify as Tijjani, dem pick am up on Sunday for Ngamdu while he dey reportedly on him way to go buy food items for members of him group.
Military sources tell The Cable say the boy connect to the attack on military base wey result for the killing of Brigadier General Oseni Braimah, wey be the person in charge of the 29 Task Force Brigade, along with three other soldiers.
The attack happen on Thursday when suspected Boko Haram fighters storm the base. The army officer and other troops die during the incident.
The arrested teenager, dem believe say he take part for earlier attacks around Benisheik and Ngamdu. Dem also talk say he dey move between locations wey link to the group activities.
The boy, dem send am from Jilli with large sum of money wey mean for logistics for Ngamdu before troops catch am. He talk say he leave other members of the group for Jilli and he no sure wetin happen to them after he leave.
The military no release any official statement on the arrest or give further details about ongoing operations for the area.
