Oyekunle yarn dis matter after three days of stakeholders consultation and Iftar sessions wey hold for Thursday across Offa, Oyun, and Ifelodun Local Government Areas. The meetings bring together party leaders, traditional rulers, grassroots mobilisers, and other stakeholders from the federal constituency.
For the Offa meeting wey hold for Avalon Hotel, Oyekunle stress say him track record of community service show say him ready to represent people for National Assembly. “I am not going there to enrich myself but to deliver on the mandate of the people. If one can not invest personal resources in the people, it will be difficult to manage public funds responsibly,” him talk. Him mention some of him interventions for community development, like construction of over 22 boreholes, support for households during COVID-19 pandemic, and ongoing empowerment initiatives through him foundation.
For the Oyun engagement wey hold for Erinle, Oyekunle commend Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration for wetin him describe as “strides in infrastructure and human capital development.” Him pledge say if dem elect am, him go continue with such gains. “I am not coming to learn on the job. My years of personal investment in our people are my proof of readiness. When given the mandate, I will ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every part of Ifelodun, Offa, and Oyun,” him add.
The aspirant also promise inclusive representation, with special focus on youth and women empowerment, as well as community-driven development. The last part of the consultation for Ifelodun hold at Igbomina House for Ganmo. The meeting attract political stakeholders, legal practitioners, and traditional rulers, including the Elese of Igbaja, Ahmed Awuni Babalola.
