NDDC don open portal for foreign scholarship for Niger Delta youths

Na big opportunity don land for Niger Delta youths as Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) don officially open portal for dia foreign postgraduate scholarship program for 2026/2027 academic year. According to statement wey come from NDDC Director of Corporate Affairs, Seledi Thompson-Wakama, dis scholarship na to boost human resource development for Niger Delta region and equip young people with better skills.

The scholarship go cover plenty important areas of study wey include Agricultural Science, Biotechnology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Medical Sciences, Architectural and Building Technology, and Law. NDDC tok say dem dey look for only qualified Bachelor’s degree holders from recognized universities wey get First Class or Second Class Upper Division.

For person to qualify for dis scholarship, dem must come from Niger Delta Region and dem no go fit pass 40 years. The portal for application go open from March 23, 2026 and go close on April 19, 2026. NDDC tok say the amount of money wey go dey for scholarship go depend on exchange rate wey dey for that time.

All applicants go write computer-based test and dem must score at least 70 percent before dem fit qualify for next stage. NDDC promise say dem go make sure say all states for Niger Delta get fair share of beneficiaries across different courses.
