For eligibility, applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and must be single. Age requirement dey different for trades and non-trades applicants. For non-tradesmen/women, age must be between 18 and 22 years, while for tradesmen/women, age must not exceed 26 years by 30th June 2026.
Height requirement na 1.68 metres for male candidates and 1.65 metres for female candidates. All applicants must possess valid National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN) to curb fraud and ensure transparency. Di name and date of birth on di NIN must correspond with those on di BVN and all other credentials.
For educational qualification, applicants must possess at least four credits including English Language in not more than two sittings in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or NBAIS. Those applying as tradesmen/women must also possess relevant Trade Test or City and Guild Certificate.
To apply, candidates must visit di official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.army.mil.ng/ and select di Regular Recruit Intake (RRI) option for di 91st intake. After reading di eligibility criteria carefully, new applicants should create an account using valid email address.
Applicants must fill di online application form with accurate personal details, educational qualifications, state of origin, NIN, BVN, and any trade certifications where applicable. Dem must upload scanned copies of required documents including birth certificate endorsed by National Population Commission, hospital, or local government council.
After successful submission, candidates must download and print di application acknowledgement slip. Di Army emphasize say candidates must ensure dem complete and submit di application online after printing dia photo card. Failure to submit online go lead to disqualification.
