In a recent outreach event in Hong Local Government Area, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri emphasized his commitment to engaging directly with the community. Speaking to residents, Fintiri sought to foster dialogue by asking, “What more should your government do for you?”
“Democracy is not simply about grand speeches; it is about meaningful conversations,” he stated. The governor highlighted various development initiatives, including the construction of six kilometers of roads, expansion of electricity services, revitalization of water supplies, and the establishment of a new Science and Technology School.
Fintiri expressed determination to turn promises into tangible results for the people of Hong. “Hong has spoken. We have heard. And we will act,” he affirmed. This approach underscores the administration’s focus on addressing the needs of citizens through direct engagement and actionable plans.
The event marks a significant step in the government’s ongoing effort to enhance community relations and ensure that local voices are heard in the decision-making process.
