Na di National Chairman of di party, Professor Abubakar Gombe, wey talk dis one as he go visit Sarkin Bwari, His Royal Highness Alhaji Awal Ijakoro II.
Dis visit no be just to chop suya and drink palm wine o! Na to collect royal blessings dey ahead of di Area Council elections wey dey happen for Saturday. Gombe don hammer am home say Bwari people need to take charge, own di election process, and choose who go lead dem well.
“For Social Democratic Party, we go no gree make you face any multiple taxes, we go reduce di wahala wey dey affect our people. Dis area council na di closest government to una, and you need to ensure say you vote for people wey sabi wetin dem dey do,” na wetin Gombe yarn.
He also gree say di leaders wey dem go elect suppose dey ready to dey with di people 24 hours. “We dey trust Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar to deliver wetin we don promise for our manifesto,” he add.
Gombe no forget to call for peace; he beg di residents to make dem participate well and ensure say di elections go reflect wetin dem really want. E come remind dem say di elections wey dey close to dem heart na di local elections, because na dat one dey affect dem day-to-day life.
Former presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo, don back up Gombe talk as him dey try make dem see say local governance na di key. “You fit vote, but no go sell your vote o! Our candidate, Abubakar Abdullahi, na di best option wey you go get.”
Adebayo don conclud say dem dey here to promote peace and make sure say dem elections go run well without wahala.
Meanwhile, di SDP chairmanship candidate, Alhaji Abdullahi, don also clear am say him dey ready to work with everybody to make Bwari better. E talk say everybody matter, no be only one side, and leadership suppose sweet for all di people dem no matter wetin dem dey believe.
Sarkin Bwari don also advise all political people and residents to keep di peace. Him talk say “Unity and respect go make us strong; every vote important for democracy.”
