Governor Makinde no hold back as him use him Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olarenwaju, drop message wey say make everybody use di sacred period gather correct prayers for di state and di country. Him talk say, “God dey use di coincidence of Ramadan and Lent to teach us say love and unity dey important.” Na him come urge say, “Make we fast well, make we pray for our leaders, wey dey try their best.”
Oba Ladoja too no wan allow matter pass am. E talk say make Christians and Muslims no forget di reason wey dem dey fast—time for sober reflection, forgiveness, and all dat good good things. E stress say, “Fasting no be just for food and drink, make we dey also fast from bad character and bad mouth.”
